Is Silverthorne accredited?

Yes.  Silverthorne is accredited through the Department of Health and Human Services Program Support Services. Silverthorne routinely undergoes unannounced state inspection and reviews and have been found to be in compliance and deficiency-free for many years.

Tell me about your staff's credentials?

The director of Silverthorne has been the President of the Adult Day Services Association of NH for more than 10 years. She has her Master’s of Science in Human Service Administration and is a licensed social worker. The Silverthorne staff also includes a RN, a BSN with a background in cardiac care and a LNA who has worked with the elderly for over 20 years. Silverthorne activity staff consistently undergoes continuous education to provide the best services possible.

What are the hours of operation?

Silverthorne is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Is transportation available?

CareRide Transportation provides rides to many individuals to and from the Center. Please forward questions regarding transportation to them at 603-897-0556. The Greater Salem area is also fortunate to have CART available for transportation needs. Please call 603-434-3569

What is a typical day like at the Center? 

Food, Fun, Socializing, Exercising and Medical Monitoring are just some of  the activities a participants encounters during their time at the Center.

How are services paid for? 

Silverthorne accepts private payment as well as payment through the Veterans Administration, NH Medicaid program and many long term care insurance companies. Silverthorne will explore all funding options with you.
