Is Silverthorne accredited?
Yes Silverthorne is accredited through the Department of Health and Human Services Program Support Services. Silverthorne undergoes unannounced State reviews and have been found to be in compliance and deficiency free for many years.

Tell me about your staff's credentials?
The director has been the President of Adult Day Services Association of NH for over 10 years. She has a MS in Human Service Administration and is a licensed social worker. The staff also includes an RN with a background in cardiac care and a LNA who has been working with elders for over 20 years, another with over 4 years of LNA experience and other activity staff who undergo continuous education.

What are the hours of operation?
Silverthorne is opened Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Extended hours are available upon request.

Is transportation available?
Silverthorne has a contract with CareRide Transportation.
Please call them at 603-8970556 for information and to have questions
answered.


The Greater Salem area is also fortunate to have CART 603-434-3569
available for transportation needs.

For residents living in the town of Atkinson, The Atkinson Police Dept.
offers a Senior program which provides transportation 603-362-4001

For residents living in Salem the Salem Senior Center can also be called
upon for assistance 603-890-2190

What is a typical day like at the Center?
Food, Fun, Socializing, Exercising and Medical Monitoring are just some of
the activities a participants encounters during their time at the Center.

How are services paid for?
Silverthorne accepts private payment as well as payment through the Veterans Administration, NH Medicaid program and many long term care insurance companies. Silverthorne will explore all funding options with you.
